Joseph Kadlec Obituary (2022) – Naperville, IL

Joseph Kadlec, 97 years old, of Naperville, IL, died on Saturday, December 25, 2021 with his loving family. Joe was born on June 3, 1924 in Chicago, IL, and was a Sokol gymnast; a US Navy veteran of World War II; an electrical engineer for Zenith (among others) with several patents on his name; associate professor for Triton College. He loved playing bridge and hanging out with friends (many lifelong relationships), always with a smile and a story. He leaves behind his children Thomas (Cathy) Kadlec, Margaret (William Hutchinson) Kadlec, Kenneth (Shirley Thompson) Kadlec, William (Hope) Kadlec; Grandson, Thomas (Angela), Kerrie (Anthony) Welch, Jeffrey (Lori), Michael Hutchinson, Jennifer, Stephanie, Timothy, Daniel Kadlec; 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law, George Svec; and dear friend Joan Norisey. The visitation will take place on Friday, January 7, 2022, 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville. Christian burial mass, Saturday at 11:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Naperville. Cemetery of Saints Peter and Paul.
