Waubonsie Valley Bowling girls take on Neuqua Valley in a DVC matchup where the Warriors come out on top. This highlight is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank.
We’re at Parkside Lanes for a DVC girls bowling clash. Two weeks before conference competition begins, the Warriors of Waubonsie Valley Girls Bowling play host to the Neuqua Valley Wildcats.
We start with Elham Isa from Neuqua. She is able to knock down the lone standing pin to get a replacement early on.
On to warrior Abby Walton, who gets an exceptional late break on her ball to grab a two-pin spare.
Mackenzie Ondrejcak holds on to Waubonsie and fires her ball in a hurry for a shot down the lane.
Christine Clarke had the best record of any bowler by stringing together a string of strikes including this one for WV.
Here’s Khushi Patel, who needs three pins to clean her first throw, and she converts the spare for the Wildcats.
One of her running mates, Srila Munukutla, just throws it like a dart to collect a spare.
This was perhaps the most impressive throw of the evening. Neuqua’s Sophia Trevino gets a spectacular spare.
Now it’s Ana Cain who sets up the last pin of her frame, and she flips it over for a spare.
Megan Gianino can breathe a sigh of relief after snagging this spare en route to a 409 pin evening.
Sam Wiertelak was Waubonsie’s top bowler with 481 pins and she shows it by capitalizing on the easy spare.
Neuqua’s Olivia Hernandez was the only bowler to break 500 and had six straight strikes to start her final game of the night. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win as the Warriors are ahead.
