Naperville North and Naperville Central met in the semi-finals of the Carillon Cup. The winner is Waubonsie Valley, which defeated Neuqua Valley 7-1.

First period

Central tries to clear the puck early, but Nico Iandoli takes it away and makes a nice pass to Cody Vittori, who types it in for the huskie goal. It is 1-0 for the blue-orange.

It’s 2-0 North and almost at the same point Charlie Szymczak (Sim-Zack) hits after another great feed. It’s a three-goal lead.

Second period

Hawks attacked in the second third. Masato Lin has a good look at the net, but huskie goalkeeper Keaton Crement makes an amazing save that keeps her off the board.

The Dawg Pound just keeps pouring it. Zach Zuspann passes the puck on to Patrick Hennessy and it’s another goal. 5-0 north.

The Redhawks are finally able to find the end of the net when Jack Sambrooks makes a beautiful pass on Chirag Dharkar for the hit.

Third period

However, there are just too many huskies in the night. Szymczak scores his second goal in the game that gave North a 7-1 win. They face Waubonsie in the final of the Carillon Cup.
