Cell phone stolen from Evanston community center

The following items were taken from the Evanston Police Department bulletin. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Tara Moore, 37, of the 2700 block of Hampton Parkway, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon in the 2700 block of Hampton Parkway on June 29.

Aggravated Assault

Michael Angelo Armstead, 54, of the 100 block of West Division Street in Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault in the 700 block of Madison St. on June 28.

Domestic Battery

Antwaun K. Cubie, 26, of the 2300 block of 182nd Place in Lansing, was charged with domestic battery at the Evanston police department in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue on June 27.

Savon Tremain Griffith, 28, of the 300 block of Elmwood Ave., was charged with domestic battery in the 300 block of Elmwood Ave. on June 23.

Shots Fired

There was a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Wesley Ave. on June 29 but responding officers did not find anything.

There was a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Foster Street on June 30 but responding officers did not find anything.

A cellphone left unattended was stolen from a community center in the 1800 block of Main St. on June 27. Amount of loss exceeds $500.

batteries

Savon Tremain Griffith, 28, of the 300 block of Elmwood Ave., was charged with battery in the 300 block of Elmwood Ave. onJune 29.

Residential Burglary

A bicycle was stolen from a garage at the 700 block of Forest Ave. it was reported on June 26.

An unsecured bicycle was stolen from a residence at the 800 block of Dodge Ave. on June 24.

A wallet containing cash was stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of Foster St. on June 28. Amount of loss exceeds $500.
