Woman Accused Of Stabbing Woman In Naperville Apartment

NAPERVILLE, IL — An Addison woman faces felony charges after police say she stabbed another woman in Naperville Tuesday morning.

Adrienne C. Williams, 28, has been charged with aggravated battery in connection with the incident.

Police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of Bailey Road around 4:20 am for a report of a stabbing. Williams is accused of fleeing on foot after the incident and was taken into custody nearby shortly after.

The woman who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

Williams is currently being held in custody at the DuPage County Jail.
