Unknown person steals credit cards from breakroom of Skokie Boulevard office – Chicago Tribune

The following items were taken from Northbrook Police Department reports, news releases and records. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.


Ashley E. Oldfield of the 600 block of West Rand Road in Arlington Heights was charged with possession of a controlled substance May 22. Police found her asleep at the wheel of a running vehicle in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Willow Road. She was arrested when police found drugs and drug paraphernalia in her hand. She is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court June 22 in Skokie.


Brian C. Sak of the 2200 block of Avalon Drive in Buffalo Grove was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured motor vehicle May 21. Police determined he was under the influence of alcohol after stopping him for the influence traffic violations He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court July 1 in Skokie.


Milton Shepard of the 1100 block of Harlem Avenue in Forest Park was approved May 23 on a warrant in connection with a homicide in Maywood. Police were alerted by a license plate reader he was in his vehicle near the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Skokie Blvd. Northbrook police took him into custody. He was transferred to the custody of the Maywood Police Department.


A person reported an unknown individual was in the break room of an office in the 700 block of Skokie Blvd. The person saw the individual leaving the break room. The person discovered multiple credit cards were missing and fraudulent charges were made.


A resident in the 1000 block of Shermer Road reported an unknown individual attempted to open a credit card using the resident’s information.
