Mundelein, Vernon Hills and Libertyville report variety of arrests – Chicago Tribune
The following items were taken from Mundelein, Vernon Hills and Libertyville police reports and releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
MUNDELEIN
DUI
Stephanie Lenz of Wauconda was charged Aug. 14 with driving under the influence of alcohol. While investigating a traffic crash, officers determined Lenz was driving while intoxicated. Lenz has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
SEX OFFERS
Keymon Legore of Mundelein was charged Aug. 17 with failure to register as a sex offender within three days of being discharged from the Lake County jail. Legore has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
Bryan W. Campbell of Mundelein was charged Aug. 19 with driving while license suspended. During a stop for a traffic violation, officers discovered Campbell’s license was suspended. He has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
VERNON HILLS
THEFT
Violeta Guzman-Garcia, 38, of the 800 block of McAlister Avenue in Waukegan, was charged Aug. 13 with retail theft. Guzman-Garcia left a store with $442.35 worth of merchandise. She was turned over to the Lake County jail. Her court information was unavailable.
ASSAULT
Destiney D. Heunisch, 41, of the 10th block of Echo Court in Vernon Hills, was charged Aug. 13 with aggravated assault. Heunisch threatened her landlord. She was given an order to appear in court.
LIBERTY VILLE
DUI
Kyle A. Knight, 22, of the 100 block of W. Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 9, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Knight has a court date scheduled on Sept. 9 in Waukegan.
Jacob W. Lange, 23, of the 2000 block of Maplewood Drive in Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Lange was also charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and an expired registration. He has a court date scheduled on Sept. 2 in Waukegan.
WARRANT
Levandis K. Hartley, 31, of the 9000 block of Country Drive in Evergreen Park in Cook County, was placed under arrest and transported to the Schaumburg police department for an arrest warrant for trespassing. There are no local charges.
BATTERY
Jack L. Papandreu, 46, of the 30000 block of N. New York Avenue in Beach Park, was charged with battery. Officers arrested Papandreu while investigating reports of a fight in progress outside a bar. He has a court date scheduled on Sept. 14 in Mundelein.
