Minnesota Weather: Tornado Alerts Expire in Northern Minnesota – WCCO

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Parts of northern Minnesota saw tornado threats on Sunday, but there have been no reports of landings or damage.

Cook County was warned until 6:15 p.m.

The districts of Itasca and Koochiching had previously been warned until 3 p.m.

A warning in St. Louis County expired at 3:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm, which could create a tornado, was moving north from Togo at 30 mph.

St. Louis County is also under a severe thunderstorm warning until 3:30 p.m.
