Erin Casey Named New Principal Of Ranch View Elementary School

NAPERVILLE, IL — Erin Casey has been named as the new principal of Ranch View Elementary School in Naperville, according to an update from Naperville Community School District 203.

Casey, who has been principal of John Laidlaw Elementary School in Western Springs School District 101 since 2013, will start her role at Ranch View on July 11.

“We are excited to be adding a veteran principal at Ranch View with the skill set needed to lead the school to both immediate and long-term success,” District 203 Superintendent Dan Bridges said in a news release.

Casey earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Indiana University and her master’s degree in education administration at the University of Illinois Chicago.

She formerly served as the founding principal at Coretta Scott King Magnet School, located in University Park. During her time there, Casey hired the school’s staff and was instrumental in creating a theme for the school, a news release said.

Prior to that, she taught first and second grade in Oak Lawn and was an assistant principal for Crete Elementary School.

Bridges added, “I [look] forward to seeing all that Erin and the outstanding staff at Ranch View can accomplish in the years to come.”
