Chicago police are investigating after a woman from the CTA Green Line platform in Cermak. was bumped

CHICAGO (WLS) – A 66-year-old woman was injured Friday night when she was knocked off a CTA Green Line platform, Chicago police said.

The woman was walking on the Green Line platform in Cermak around 7 p.m. when a male suspect pushed her, police said.

She crashed onto the “track area” and the suspect fled the scene, according to CPD.

The woman was helped back on the platform and then taken to a local hospital for treatment for head and arm injuries, CPD said.

Chicago Police are investigating the incident; Further information about the suspect was not immediately available.
