A student’s air pods were reported stolen at Evanston Township High School, but they’re being tracked, authorities said. This among stories in Tuesday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.
A 15-year-old student at Evanston Township High School reported that her Apple Air Pods had been stolen, but she told police they are trackable. The pods were stolen at about 2:15 pm Monday.
Alcoholic products were taken from the Jewel-Osco grocery store at the 2400 block of Howard Street at about 10 am Monday.
Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a 7-Eleven store in the 800 block of Emerson Street at about 1:30 am Tuesday.
A Specialized bicycle was removed from a residential storage area at the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue between August 22 and about 6 pm Monday.
A rock was thrown through the window of a residence at the 1700 block of Main Street between 6:30 am and 7:30 am Monday.
Anthony J. Verthein, 29, of 13811 S. Western Ave., Blue Island, was arrested at 815 Main St. at 11:04 am Sunday and charged with criminal damage to property.
Graffiti in marker and spray paint was discovered in the Sherman Plaza parking lot, in the 800 block of Davis Street, at about midnight Monday.
