Thomas Hoey Obituary (1955 – 2022) – Naperville, IL
Thomas “Tom” Joseph Hoey, Jr., former longtime resident of Naperville, passed away on June 22nd, 2022, at the age of 67 in Ocala, Florida, after battling cancer for the second time. He was born on February 9, 1955 in Chicago, IL. Tom is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beverly; his two daughters, Brittany, and Kelsey; his mother, Kathleen; his brother, Robert; and his two grandcats, Billie and Chimuelo. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Tom Sr., and his brother, Brendan. Tom graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS and MS in Accounting and Computer Science in 1980. Tom was a CPA and partner at Arthur Andersen LLP, and was responsible for directing the global accounting research platform and its external product, Accounting Research Manager. He was a dedicated member at Wheatland Salem United Methodist Church.
