Evanston residents gathered in Fountain Square Sunday to take part in a community lament rally after a jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse of willful homicide, reckless homicide, attempted willful homicide and reckless endangerment.

The family and friends of Dana Grote Teeter, an Evanston resident who passed away five weeks ago, gathered on the lakefront for a brisk 2 mile walk to celebrate Dana’s life.

The Evanston Holiday Bazaar’s Woman’s Club was home to local artists selling paintings, jewelry, hot sauce, and more.

Santa for a Day, a charity that serves disadvantaged children during the holidays, now has its own pop-up location at 710 Evanston, Church Street. The charity’s founder, Richard Gentile, Mayor Biss and other parishioners celebrated the opening of the Pop-ups on November 19th with a ribbon cut
