600 hulls
A robber knocked a victim to the ground in a parking lot in the 600 block of Hull Terrace at about 1 pm Thursday. Nothing was reported taken, however.

BURGLARY
800 simpsons
A burglar kicked in the door to gain entry at a residence in the 800 block of Simpson Street between 10 pm Wednesday and 2:30 pm Thursday. Among items taken were a bicycle, recordings, and jewelry.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
500 Sheridans
A kitchen cabinet was reported damaged at a residence in the 500 block of Sheridan Road around 8:15 am Thursday.

GRAFFITI
Sheridan at Arnold
Graffiti was discovered on the street near the intersection of Sheridan Road and Arnold Place at 11:48 am Thursday.

300 Main
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Main Street at 12:30 pm Thursday.

Forest at Main
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Main Street at 1:10 pm Thursday.

Hinman at Church
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk near the intersection of Hinman Avenue and Church Street at 12:30 pm Thursday.

SHOT’S HEARD
600 Hinman
Gunshots were reported in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue at 12:10 am Friday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT
2400 main
Consumable goods were stolen from a store at the 2400 block of Main Street at 1:51 pm Thursday.

2100 Ridge
A package containing photo and optical equipment was stolen from a residence at the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue between 6 pm Tuesday and 10:33 am Thursday.

600 hulls
A birth certificate and a passport were taken from a residence in the 600 block of Hull Terrace between April 8 and 11:25 am Thursday.

300 ridges
A backpack containing electronic devices and other personal items was taken from the Amita Health Saint Francis Hospital between 1 pm Wednesday and 1:32 pm Thursday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place at Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
