Person Arrested After Armed Barricade Situation In Naperville: Cops

NAPERVILLE, IL — A person was taken into custody early Sunday following an armed barricade situation in the 400 block of east Bailey Road that began Saturday night lasted several hours, according to a city update.

Officers were called to a home just after 6:30 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident. Shortly after, the suspect barricaded himself inside the home, which prompted responding officers to call for backup.

Police recovered a firearm when the suspect was taken into custody Sunday morning.
