Matthew Kline Obituary (1983 – 2022) – Naperville, IL

Matthew C. Kline age 38 of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Naperville, IL and Lakewood, CO, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2022. He was born October 10, 1983 in Ft. Meyers, FL to his proud parents, Renae (John) Odenthal of Naperville, IL and the late George Kline.
Loving husband of Melissa Kline and loving dad of Mattie Kline.
Protective brother of Gwen Kline of Peyton, CO and Courtney (Garrett) McCarthy of Shoreline, WA. ‘The favorite’ grandson of Dick Stengl and the late Arlene Stengl of Fort Meyers, FL, the late Jack and Loretta Odenthal and the late Harvey and Barry Kline.
Loved son-in-law of Janet Nackovic of Morris, IL and the late Simon Nackovic.
Admired brother-in-law of Nick (Kim Boye) Nackovic of Lockport, IL and Pete (Lindsay) Nackovic of Joliet, IL.
Dear uncle of Simon, Owen, Jameson, Emerson and baby McCarthy. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins ​​and countless friends also survive, especially Brian Kozlowicz, Alex Theis, Luke Ticknor and Adam Wehrli.
Matt attended Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL and graduated from Alameda High School in Lakewood, CO in 2002. Matt was a journeyman with Plumbers’ Local Union 130 for 16 years. He was an avid Bears and Sox fan and would never turn down the chance to go to a game regardless of climate or distance. He loved the outdoors, boating, barbecuing, bonfires, sunsets and tinkering with a project in his garage, notably and most recently his go-kart. His favorite pastime was having his family and friends together, and as we all know, “Everyone is always invited.” His kind heart, generosity, hospitality and sense of humor will genuinely be missed by all who had the honor of being a part of his life.
A celebration of Matt’s life is being planned in the future. Cremation rites will be taking place private.
