Glass damage reported at Presbyterian church on Chicago

Two reports were received pertaining to glass damage of a door and a window at the First Presbyterian Church on Chicago Avenue. This among stories in Thursday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1400 Chicago
Two reports of glass damage of a door and a window were said to have occurred at the First Presbyterian Church, in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, between 2 pm Sunday and 9 am Tuesday.

1200 Darrow
Someone poured bleach on a victim’s clothing at a residence in the 1200 block of Darrow Avenue around 11 on Wednesday.

THEFT
2700 garrisons
A red 2018 Chrysler was stolen from the 2700 block of Garrison Avenue overnight Tuesday, where the vehicle was parked unlocked on the street.

800 main
License plates were removed from a 2006 Lincoln while parked in the 800 block of Main Street around 4 am Tuesday.

1600 Sherman
A bicycle locked to a bike rack in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue was stolen between 12:26 pm and 12:36 pm Tuesday.

1700 church
A cell phone was taken from a 13-year-old male’s backpack at Mason Park, in the 1700 block of Church Street, at about 7:17 pm Wednesday.

1800 Sheridan
An attempt to remove several tools at the Clark Street Beach bird sanctuary between 11 am Saturday and 2 pm Wednesday was unsuccessful.

1900 jacksons
Cash was removed from a victim’s wallet at a residence in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue around 4:50 am Wednesday.

TRAFFIC
1100 Chicago
Brusly Miranda-Fuentes, 21, of 4815 N. Monticello Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Chicago Ave. at 4:39 pm Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for 1:30 pm on Sept 26.
