Boy, 17, found dead after SWAT team reacted to apartment in eastern Ukrainian village – NBC Chicago
A 17-year-old boy was found dead in an apartment in the eastern Ukrainian village on Wednesday after breaking a window in an argument with his mother, police said.
Officials were called to the 1700 block of West Augusta around 8:50 p.m. because of domestic unrest, Chicago police said.
Police said officers broke into the home and three inmates were unharmed, but the teenager was not found.
A SWAT team was called and the 17-year-old was found dead with multiple stab wounds in a room in the apartment, the police said.
He was identified as Raheem Hemphill by the Cook County medical examiner. An autopsy published on Friday revealed that his death was a homicide.
Investigate the Area Three detectives.
