After COVID-19 sidelined them for two weeks, the Naperville Central Redhawks are back on the road in the Metea Valley. The Mustangs are looking to claim their first DVC win of the season.

285 pounds

The night begins with the 285lb class Nick Antonietti able to get Jake Pauline to the mat early. He continues to hold the lead until taking the pin to give Naperville Central Wrestling a quick 6-0 advantage.

106 pounds

Next game at 106 pounds. Jonah Maldonado flips Flynn Collins onto his back in a painful position and takes the whistle for the second round pin. Tie 6-6 after two games.

113 pounds

At 113, this is Tyler Martin slamming his opponent Matthew Shaw to the mat. He continues to work, forcing his shoulders flat to grab the pin on the first round. Central is now 12-6 ahead.

138 pounds

After a couple of Redhawk wins, Meteas Thomas Shaw works hard for the late-game takedown to secure the regular 138 decision win. They are behind 26-9.

160 pounds

Moving on to 160 pounds, this is Gavin Bohan working on the single leg takedown. He brings Connor Norton to the mat and that’s enough for a tech case. Redhawks now 40-9.

170 pounds

With the team win already secured, Tristan Hall put the finishing touches on Tyler Funk at 170 with a first round pin. Naperville Central walk away from this DVC matchup with a 59-9 victory.
