Wilmette man charged with felony battery – Chicago Tribune

The following items were taken from Northbrook Police Department reports, news releases and records. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

BATTERY

Ronald N. Goldburg of Wilmette was charged with two counts of felony battery June 30. A person reported to police June 26 he was allegedly punched on the face by an unknown individual, who turned out to be Goldburg, while getting food at a business in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. The incident was observed on a video surveillance camera at the business. The person positively identified Goldburg June 30. Goldburg was held for a bond hearing.

VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION

Aaron M. Miller of Chicago was charged with violating an order of protection June 30. Miller allegedly violated the order by texting and calling multiple times, according to the victim. Miller was taken into custody and is awaiting a bond hearing.

THREATENING

Ryan A. Harris of Northbrook was charged with threatening a person June 30. After the victim accepted a friend request from an online social media site from Harris, Harris allegedly threatened the victim with serious bodily harm. Harris is waiting for a bond hearing.

WARRANT APPREHENSION

Lisa M. Guerrera of Waukegan was apprehended on a warrant from the Northbrook Police Department for four counts of forgery June 26. She was taken into custody by the Zion Police Department. Northbrook officers went to the Zion Police Station, took custody of her and transported her to court.

INVALID LICENSE

Angelika Accardi of Northbrook was charged with driving while license suspended, resisting a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia June 25. After a community service officer attempted to help Accardi move her disabled vehicle out of traffic near Waukegan and Voltz roads, the officer learned her license was suspended. A police officer arrived to take her into custody. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Cook County court July 11 in Skokie.

Osman Lobo-Padilla of Waukegan was charged with driving without a valid license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding June 27. After stopping Lobo-Padilla near the intersection of Waukegan Road and Walnut Circle, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Cook County court Aug. 4 in Skokie.

THEFT

Larry G. Hudson of Chicago surrendered to Northbrook police June 24 on a warrant for three counts of felony retail theft from a retail store at the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. He was transported to Cook County Court and is next scheduled to appear in court July 15 in Skokie.

Julian C. Campbell of Chicago was taken into custody June 24 in Chicago on a warrant issued by the Northbrook Police Department for felony retail theft in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. He is next scheduled to appear in Cook County Court July 15 in Skokie.

Eric J. Inostroza of Joliet was charged with retail theft June 29. He was observed by store personnel shopping at a retail business in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. He placed items in a shopping bag and left the shop without paying. He is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court Aug. 11 in Skokie.

Two men purchased an item at a retail business in the 1000 block of Willow Road June 29. They attempted to return it after a short while and left the store with both the item and the cash refund.

A person reported an unknown individual stole a bicycle from a bike rack in the 1400 block of Shermer Road June 29.

A person reported an unknown individual stole a catalytic converter and attached oxygen sensor from the person’s vehicle parked in the 700 block of Skokie Blvd. June 25

A person reported an unknown individual stole the catalytic converter from a rental car the person was using in the 900 block of Skokie Blvd. June 26

A person reported an unknown individual stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the 900 block of Skokie Blvd. June 26

BURGLARY

A person reported observing a man walk to a vehicle parked in the 2700 block of Dundee Road, enter it, take money left in the vehicle and then leave June 25.
