Thomas Dederichs Obituary (2022) – Naperville, IL

Thomas “Tom” Dederichs, age 85 of Naperville, IL at rest May 19th, 2022 at The Springs at Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL. Born June 18, 1936 in Wanda, MN the son of the late Nicholas and Lucy Dederichs. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (2010), loving father of Michael, Paul (Jayne), and Daniel Dederichs, cherished grandfather of Garrett, Madeline and Samantha. Dear Brother of Donna Flanagan, Mary Haas, and the late David Dederichs, fond uncle to many. Tom was a proud member of the US Army (1958-1960) retired accountant from Cargill, an avid bird hunter, fisherman, winner of the 2014 Lac Des Mille Lacs Canadian Fishing Tournament, a long-time member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and volunteered in numerous charitable organizations. He was an active parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Naperville, IL for more than 30 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to your local St Vincent De Paul Society. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St Maximilian Kolbe, St. Peter Campus, 217 2nd Street South in Delano, MN at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Delano, MN. A luncheon will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Fellowship Hall (12pm) located at 607 Maple Ave, Waverly, MN.
