Stolen Jaguar is recovered in Chicago

A 2017 white Jaguar was stolen from Prairie Avenue, but it was recovered later in Chicago. This among stories in Friday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT
2700 Prairie
A white 2017 Jaguar was stolen from the 2700 block of Prairie Avenue between 5 pm Wednesday and 8:25 am Thursday, but it was found later in Chicago.

600 Chicago
Alcoholic products were stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at about 7:30 pm Thursday.

500 lee
A package delivered to a residence in the 500 block of Lee Street was taken between 3:30 pm Wednesday and 10:52 am Thursday.

2200 ridges
A package delivered to a residence at the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue was taken between 12:45 pm on July 7 and 11:30 am on July 8.

1800 Asbury
A package delivered to a residence at the 1800 block of Asbury Avenue was stolen around 5 pm Wednesday.

BURGLARY
800 Sherman
A burglar entered a residence in the 800 block of Sherman Avenue between 12:01 am and 2:40 am Wednesday through a window and took a backpack.

GRAFFITI
700 Custers
Spray-painted graffiti was discovered at a store in the 700 block of Custer Avenue at 9:19 am Thursday.

OTHER
700 Dobsonians
A victim saw someone damaging his 2017 Ford in the 700 block of Dobson Street at about 3:30 am Thursday. He called out to the subject, who then fired shots toward the victim. Police recovered shell casings.

1570 Oak
Dakar Aaron Frieson, 23, of 1570 Oak Ave., was arrested at that address at 3:42 am Thursday and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a concealed weapon.
