Off-Duty Cop Shot in Beverly Bar / Konkol Column / Boy Carjacker

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Gov. JB Pritzker to respond to Black people who say mass shootings in poor minority communities don’t get the same attention as the July 4th massacre in Highland Park — where about 90 percent of residents are white, and the median household income is $147,000.

“Well, I can speak at least for myself. I’m not giving more attention to one than another,” Pritzker said.
