Neuroscience third-year Ph.D. student Peter Salvino has been reported missing by his family since early Sunday morning, Northwestern announced Monday in a call for community members to help locate Salvino.
According to the Chicago Police Department, Salvino was last seen shortly after midnight Sunday around the 800 block of West Lill Avenue in Lincoln Park. He is reported to have been wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and maroon pants after leaving a party at the 2400 block of North Geneva Terrace.
University Police is working with CPD in its investigation of Salvino’s disappearance. CPD asks anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 312-744-8266.
The University encourages community members in need of support to connect with resources such as Counseling and Psychological Services, the Employee Assistance Program and Religious and Spiritual Life.
