Bulls will win the 2022 NBA final, predicts Matt Barnes, which originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
The Chicago Bulls, who are battling for the NBA championship, haven’t had much thought the preseason, but with a two-game lead in the Eastern Conference standings a week after 2022, believers in the team’s title chances are beginning to tap into.
Former NBA striker Matt Barnes takes the lead in eight games following the Bulls’ recent winning streak.
Barnes said on ESPN’s NBA Today that Chicago’s cap would win the NBA final in 2022.
“They are a very talented team,” said Barnes, “and they keep getting better.”
Barnes stated that DeMar DeRozan had one of his best seasons in the NBA.
DeRozan is not happy after the Bulls’ 8th straight win
“It’s not about disrespecting Miami, Brooklyn, the Bucks – that [Chicago] Team is exactly in the mix with them, “said Barnes.
The Bulls added more segregation in the Eastern Conference standings by beating the Orlando Magic as Barnes joined the Chicago championship train.
Barnes’ voice carries some weight as the 14-year-old journeyman raised the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2017. The NBA champion said on the show Monday that he predicted the Bulls surpass preseason expectations and will be “the surprise team of the” season. “
“I don’t want to blow the horn myself, but that’s what I called it at the beginning of the season,” said Barnes.
