Evanston stays alive at the ‘AA’ State Baseball Tournament [VIDEO]

An eight-time fourth inning led the Evanston Outlaws past the Rock Springs Stallions at the 2021 Wyoming Legion Baseball ‘AA’ State Tournament in Laramie on Tuesday.

Evanston scored in each of her four at-bats. They led 5-0 before their big inning.

Four outlaws had two hits apiece, which were cut off by Clayton Moyles, who had two hits including a triple and four RBIs. Derek MacDonald added two hits and drove in two runs.

Evanston’s Ashton Eldredge went four innings up the hill for the win. He allowed three hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Caleb Gooding pitched the final inning.

Sam Wheeler led the stallions with two hits, but Rock Springs made six errors in the field.

The Outlaws arrive on Wednesday day 3 at 4:00 p.m. CET to play Laramie-Gillette’s loser

Rock Springs season has ended. They finish their season 13-44.
