“Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical” is coming to the Apollo Theater Chicago in Lincoln Park
CHICAGO (WLS) – It’s time to show yourself at your best and get your first impression when Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical premieres in the “Most Romantic City in the World”.
“Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical” is written by Richelle Meiss (book author, lyricist) with music by Sam Johnides and Tony Gonzalez (composer, music supervisor, music director).
Presented by Right Angle Entertainment, this journey in search of love takes place Thursday through February 13th at the Apollo Theater Chicago at 2550 N. Lincoln Ave. held in Chicago.
“Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical” is the most dramatic unauthorized musical parody of “The Bachelor” to date, the makers said. With songs like “Sob Story,” “Two-On-One Tango,” and “The Date Card is a Riddle,” this quick-tempered parody is packed with romance, competition, and candidates who may or may not be here for the right reasons, depending on to its creators.
Whether you love “The Bachelor”, just watch “The Bachelor” with your girlfriend, or have never seen “The Bachelor”, get ready to fall in love with this musical. Who will get the last rose? Who’s going to go home broken-hearted? And how many “Bachelor” jokes can you stuff into a 75-minute musical? All you have to do is pick up your rose and find out!

Richelle Meiss comments: “My favorite feedback from viewers is: ‘I don’t even watch’ Der Bachelor ‘and I was laughing the whole time!’ We’ve got inside jokes that only true Bachelor Nation members get, and we’ve got hilarious moments that anyone with a pulse will enjoy. The extraordinary cast who participated in the Chicago premiere of Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical , is great when it comes to making fun of the fame-seeking contestants and belting out the musical’s original pop-rock songs. When we get to the dramatic final rose, you’ll fall in love with these characters (or at least love to hate them). “
